Fortunately, they were able to save his life, but his front legs and most of his tail needed to be amputated because of frostbite.

Aside from their owner’s investments toward their safety, Pancakes seem to be just as protective of his brother. Not only does he choose to sleep close to Rex, but he also cleans his brother’s face for him!
