Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez & Riley Roberts

Some three years ago, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was just a political aspirant looking to win New York’s 14th Congressional District seat. Today, she’s on her second term and has also become a popular figure in the Democratic Party. While she did most of the work and investment planning by herself, it cannot be denied that she received tremendous support from her partner, Riley Roberts.

Their relationship goes all the way back to their college days. They met a Friday “Coffee and Conversation” that was hosted by Boston University’s dean. Both describe their first meeting as awkward and nerdy, but the chemistry has always been there. In fact, Ocasio-Cortez’s mom wants them to get married someday and is very supportive of Roberts’ too. Considering her daughter’s career, however, it might be a while before this couple walks down the aisle.
