LISA BONET & JASON MOMOA

Jason Momoa is most known for his “tough guy” roles in movies and television shows (think Aquaman and Game of Thrones). Behind the 6’4″ wall of hair and muscle hides a caring family guy. He looks to his wife, actress Lisa Bonet, to keep him in check and help him live his best life.

It was indeed young love for Momoa when he first saw his future wife—but not in the way you might assume. Jason tuned in to The Cosby Show to see Bonet play Denise Huxtable, the role that established her degree. Mutual friends introduced the two at a jazz bar in New York City one night. Of course, he was understandably ecstatic. Momoa requested a ride back to the hotel where he was staying at the time, and the two ended up at Hollywood’s Cafe 101 for a meal. Little do they know, that is the beginning of a lifetime.
